You’re welcome, everyone.
I agree with NKIT that Mr. Boylan should write a book. He knows a lot about production, session musicians, etc. and he had a direct connection to the Eagles.

The 70's California music scene, Eagles in particular is so interesting. I'd love to see Netflix do a 10 or 12 episode scripted series telling the story of those groups, the music, the fighting the breakups, etc..
On Joe's show, I remember him playing a track by an electronic music artist that used a an old sampled female vocal from the 50's. Does anyone recall the name of the song?
FYI Looks like the Eagles station is ending on 2/1 with Fleetwood Mac taking over.

Whoops, my mistake. I had the channels mixed up.
In my mind, The Eagles had taken over for Billy Joel in November, which was on Channel 4. I forgot the Eagles were on Channel 30.
I don't pay much attention to the station numbers, I just hit the presets .
I do think the Eagles channel is supposed to end at the end of the month though unless they extended it again. It was supposed to end earlier this month till the change.

Well the Eagles station has ended and it’s back to Billy Joel. I loved listening to the music esp. rarely heard tunes although there was some repetition of the hits. Getting some insight and anecdotes from the Guest DJs was a real treat. If it is ever revived, my Guest DJ wishlist is:
Bernie Leadon
Glyn Johns
Linda Ronstadt (if she’s up to it of course)
Deacon Frey
Jackson Browne
