Yikes, Brooke, I thought we were bad over here in Ireland with our lousy 'summer' but that's terrible. I hope they rebuild the bridge - it would be sad to see it gone forever.

Ga, we had the one of the wettest Junes on record, around 11 inches. Three is normal. As for replacing the bridge, I doubt it. It wasn't used much, just by the locals mostly. It was more of a scenic cut through road these days. If they did manage to find money to replace it, it would be a modern concrete version.Originally Posted by Glennsallnighter

Wow Brooke, those are quite the pics. I hope you are safe. We don't get much flooding where I live but we have gotten some terrible thunderstorms of late.

Goodness Brooke that is some amount of rain! I'm sorry about your bridge. I love little picturesque bridges. They have a character that cannot be replaced.
