Yikes, Brooke, I thought we were bad over here in Ireland with our lousy 'summer' but that's terrible. I hope they rebuild the bridge - it would be sad to see it gone forever.

...Well it sure makes you wonder the things that some people will say. They can see black and white but they don't seem to notice the grey...
Ga, we had the one of the wettest Junes on record, around 11 inches. Three is normal. As for replacing the bridge, I doubt it. It wasn't used much, just by the locals mostly. It was more of a scenic cut through road these days. If they did manage to find money to replace it, it would be a modern concrete version.
It's still raining. We've had around 5 inches already for July. Normal is 3-4 inches.

Wow Brooke, those are quite the pics. I hope you are safe. We don't get much flooding where I live but we have gotten some terrible thunderstorms of late.

Goodness Brooke that is some amount of rain! I'm sorry about your bridge. I love little picturesque bridges. They have a character that cannot be replaced.

Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
Another beautiful piece of architectural history destroyed by Mother Nature. Damn. She is ruthless, isn't she? That looks like post-K flooding. *shudders*
Glad to hear you are safe, Brooke!

This is a picture of our Giant Springs State Park in MT. It feeds into the Missouri River and is a natural huge spring that is crystal clear.

Couple of photos of me taken yesterday in front of the pond at the reunion.
The view from the porch of the lodge(unfortunately the only pic of the lodge I got was blurry)
