    Cool Bonnie Raitt

I get to go see her at the Morris Civic (a small 2500 seat auditorium built for listening to music!) in the heart of downtown South Bend Friday night. I'm a big-time blues and slide fan, and I've been a fan of Bonnie's for a long time. This is my first time seeing her. Can't wait, happened to get 6th row seats purely by livin' right .
Hope this helps tide me over 'til my March shows w/the boys.

Hey JDub, Im a HUGE Bonnie fan, I just checked her schedule and, of course, she wont be coming anywhere near me. So be sure and bring back a full and detailed review! *thinking I really need to move to Texas*

Hey Deb- I was trying to go to that show at The Morris also but couldn't get anyone else to go with. I figured I shouldn't press my luck because have several concerts coming up. I see Thorogood this Saturday and 2 in one weekend would of been mind boggling for someone with very little life!

I had seen Bonnie about 1991 or 1992, back when she was touring for the Luck of the Draw album, and she was fantastic! We were in lawn seats in the rain at the Garden State Art Center, and although the concert was well worthwhile, it cemented in my mind that I would never go for lawn seats again...too much mud!!

She's going to be coming to the casino that I work at. I don't remember if she'll be here in March or April but I did see that she is coming here. It's great that the casino brings in some good acts like her but I always work the night of the concerts so I don't ever get the chance to see them perform.

Do you ever see any of those performers after a show or whenever on the floor when you are working? Just wonder if they ever get out there and gamble a bit amongst the "commoners".

The George Thorogood concert we are going to Saturday night will be the first show at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City in the new addition they just opened up last month. Anxious to check it out and hope they bring some other good shows to it.

I haven't witnessed it yet but i've heard that a few of the artists that have come through there have stuck around to gamble after performing. Toby Keith has done some private benefits in the theater before and i was told that he once put on a disguise and played a little blackjack afterwards.

After I read Deb's post, I went over to check Bonnie's tour schedule to see if she was coming anywhere close to me., but, sadly, she isn't. I would love to see her live.

Too bad we haven't met TBF, I'm going with an old "frienemy" who probably won't enjoy the show as much as I will and I'll hear about it. Sometimes we have a good time, sometimes we don't...but he's paying, so I don't care, I will have a good time with Bonnie. I noticed she's with Jonny Lang at some other spots around me...what a great double bill

    In March, I have 3 Eagles shows in 8 days...wonder how'll I do it....what a wonderful problem to have
