Happy 44th Birthday to Tequila Sunrise.
Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
Tequila Sunrise, timeless, ageless, wonderful song. One of my top five Eagles songs for sure!
"They will never forget you 'till somebody new comes along"
1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
Happy 43rd Birthday to Already Gone.

On this day, May 1, 1972 the Eagles released their first single "Take It Easy" -- woo! Perfect excuse to celebrate.
Happy 45th Birthday to the song that started it up, Take It Easy. Its going to feel weird when it hits 50 in 5 years.

Surely we should have a big ol' street party to celebrate it - somewhere appropriate, maybe Jackson Browne's house or if Jackson objects maybe Winslow, Arizona!
TIE gave me comfort this morning as I was undergoing a minor medical procedure. It was playing in the doctor's office as they photographed the area that would be worked on. And as I walked out after the procedure, Take It to the Limit was playing. It was a sign!
