BTW, HLIVE, were you at the Glasgow 2006 show? If so, I was there, too!
I stil have all my 45's lol and most of my LP's. Even have an old stereo with turntable up in the loft. Could give the girls a history lesson.

They were great for Physics instruction also! There are a group of us here on The Border who still have a strong attachment for turntables; or rather the media for which they were made!
A large part of my collection of Albums was given away to my Niece way back in the '70s. Not my favorites but a lot of albums that I had that contained only one or two tracks that I liked. Then disaster! Pipes froze and burst flooding the room I had set up for "listening". The albums were stacked on edge all around the room against the walls. Ruined the covers. Broke my heart.

Wow what a pain Mike. Think it would have broken my heart too.

Welcome from me too.

Yes, I was at the Glasgow 2006 show sitting next to three brother from the US. They decided to take a trip without their wives and just happened to come when the Eagles were playing. We had a great time with them.
