Looking forward to the show. I think I'll play "Running On Empty" (The LP) tomorrow night (which is my "Vinyl Night" although I do spin records on other days, but Friday is more of a celebration, lol!) in celebration. Should be great. I really hope to hear Doctor My Eyes. I love that song - my favorite piano riff!
You can request songs at Jackson Browne shows. You would think he would always play it since it was a big hit, but that's not always the case.

Do you have any other albums or CDs of his?

Today I heard For Everyman, my favorite JB song and I thought it wasonderful! I look forward to hearing the rest of it.

Has anybody else heard the cd yet? Any thoughts?
Bought the bonnie raitt contribution and the Don Henley one
Love bonnie and watched the video of her making it about 5 times.

Also heard part of the indigo girls conributuion

Happy with all I have heard so far.

No, but I hope to get some soon. I really want the first album on vinyl but haven't found it yet.

A fan favorite is the album Late For the Sky, but my fave is the album For Everyman, but really almost all of them are good. I'm not a fan of Lawyers In Love or any of the 80's albums, and although I like the song Time the Conqueror, I don't like everything on that album.

I would highly recommend the DVD Going Home. That's the DVD in which he talks about how he got the idea for the piano part in Doctor My Eyes. He talks about other songs and performs a lot of songs. Some songs are shown being performed back in the 70's and in the present both. I love that DVD.

    You too, Pm!

If I went it would be to St. Louis, but the dates are really bad for me and I want to see him with his full band....I see he will have it at a couple shows out east, but this is solo acoustic. Darn!

I wonder if Sarah Watkins will be along this time? I enjoyed her.
Brooke, I'd rather see him with his band too, but we were able to get Row B, seats 27 and 28 for $68 apiece using the presale on Jackson's website. That's the ONLY reason I'm seeing his solo acoustic show again.

It would be nice but it's a 3+ hour drive for me when I have no other weekend days at home that month. It's okay though - I'm taking him to see The Eagles in September

    Pm, awesome seats and price!

Austin, he didn't play Doctor My Eyes at my show, but hopefully he will for yours. I was surprised he didn't with it being such a big song for him.

Yeah, Brooke and I weren't at the kind of show you can request at, although I think some people were still calling them out. Lol!
