Yeah ss - I truly scratch my head about people who spend megabucks to see a concert that they don't bother watching - same thing happens at sporting events too. Go figure!

Going to a gig soon and actually dreading what the audience might be like as most of the live stuff on YT has had raucous crowd members shouting/singing along. I've experienced this before and it's ruined the gig for me. I suppose it's worse when they're just shouting a random conversation over the music though.

Ugh. That's the worst. I was at a show Saturday night where that kept happening and they only got the clue after I had shot them a death stare 4 or 5 times. I understand there were 2 very different groups playing but some of us were there for the other band!

Sometimes, in smaller venues, the artist themselves will get involved. Jackie Leven and Grant Hart have both taken issue with idiots in the audience if they're just talking but when they're singing along, it's more difficult because they're showing their appreciation in a way but without any consideration for other people in the audience ...

Fleetwood Mac is having to cancel Australian tour dates so that John McVie can undergo cancer treatment.

I just spent a couple hours trying to find out more about this. One media outlet said the "prognosis was good" but that's not been confirmed. Still, I'll cling to it.

    PRAYERS FOR JOHN MCVIE!!!

I was going to ask you about this when hubby told me about it. I'm glad I saw them on their previous tour here, because I wasn't going to this. Wishing him a full & speedy recovery.

Positive thoughts & prayers for John Mc. Seeing them this past summer was a dream come true for me. It is one of my Top 10 concert experiences and it was so much fun sharing it with Sodascouts (FM expert & hardcore fan!)
