I usually hate lists that list songs, musicians, bands, etc but I really like their list. I can't really disagree with it. Of course I'm happy that #1 got #1.

I agree with you, Austin - not a bad list at all compared to some I've seen. I kinda wish they had done a Top 20 list though because there will always be glaring omissions when you do an Eagles Top 10 list.
I decided to post the order of their list and compare it to the one we did here on The Border in our recent 40th anniversary poll. If you put the two list together, you come up with some amazing songs ...

Six songs made the Top 10 on both of the lists. The only song in their Top 10 that didn't make our Top 20 was The Long Run, which finished at #22 in our poll.

I like our Top 10 better than theirs...Where's our Top 20 list? I remember that we did it not too long ago!
Another surprise is that we did not pick Desperado for the Top 10, I was wondering where we ranked it?

One thing I will say is that to me, New Kid In Town belongs on any Eagles Top 10 list. That is just my opinion, but it is a really great song that is often overlooked.

It's funny, when I went through the poll, & found my list, I may have a different list today. It' so hard to rank these songs because there are days that maybe one song will appeal to you more than another.
I see that I left off "The Last Resort" from my list, but when I rewatched HFO yesterday, Don just blew me away on that song, so I would have switched something there, not sure what though??I would have to put that in my Top 20.
