Ok, what's the best way to get a good ticket?

I looked for the thread about buying tickets and can't find it! Any pointers?

    Found it!

And, nothing good came up in the fan club presale so far. Most of the time I got "high demand, nothing available". I finally got a few offers but near the back of the venue and I got kicked out within 15 minutes! And I wasn't crazy about trying!

    I will keep checking.

Well I tried in the fan club presale, the live nation presale and today during the general sale. Nothing in the front half of the arena came up. How do some of you get so lucky in these? I tried many, many times. Spent hours at it.

I'll keep trying, but I'm pretty bummed out right now.

I didn't try today, but I'm sure I would have had the same results, and will when the tickets for Pittsburgh go on sale.

Ok, I called Scottrade today and asked them about taxis and the entrance. I DO NOT want a repeat Chicago incident. They said they can pull right up to the front doors.

I think I might be going to see Bob Seger in St. Louis. Still working on tickets but I should be out of my boot and feeling better by then and should be able to have a lot less walking compared to United in Chicago and hopefully be doable. I'm also going to do my best to get aquatic exercise in Florida and hopefully get my foot and breathing back to feeling better and I'm also on inhalers now which help A LOT.

Wish me luck on getting tix!

ETA: I got them!!! 6th row center! Not sure on seat numbers yet, still have to wait for the tickets to be emailed. Used VividSeats this time.

I'm glad you're going to this after you seemed so down after Fleetwood Mac when you said you might never go to another show.

I don't know what Australia has to do to get Seger out here.

Me too.... Chicago's layout of getting in and out is just too hard for me to do and the environment isn't the best.

With St. Louis I can get out right at the front entrance and walk in...

I'm done with United Center unless I either become healthier or they change their policies.

Good luck with that. One of the radio stations in DC are wondering why he never goes there, either. This is the third tour in a row (at least) that he's not gone there.

    Has he ever toured Australia?
