I don't think the "best of Eagles" rules out solo tracks, more obscure Eagles tracks, covers etc.

He is part of a lineup which includes Steve Lukather, Rick Springfield, Mick Box & Bernie Shaw from Uriah Heep and Bob Catley & Tony Clarkin from Magnum. So no, he has not 'found himself a band'. He presumably will use his own band. There is no suggestion that he will be billed as 'the Eagles'. The artists will be backed by the Mat Sinner band & the Bohemian Orchestra of Prague.

However, the idea that he would use a tour like this to suddenly start performing obscure tracks & so forth, I find hard to believe.

I wonder if he will utilize the orchestra which is the "classic" part of the "rock meets classic" tour? That would be very interesting.

I don't think he actually will be playing obscure Eagles tracks - on this or any tour. What I meant is that "best of Eagles" wouldn't rule out anything if one still played the biggest Eagles hits. I was replying to UndertheWire's "Just 'Best Of Eagles'?" comment.

He'll probably be doing a lot of the same shows he performs domestically. He is on the road pretty extensively, especially this year, with the band he's had for a number of years. He sings a lot of Eagles songs, cause that's what people want to hear. He does a few other tunes. He may do some from Road to Forever, which actually has some good songs on it. He says he is working on another album to lease in 2017. My understanding though is this is his first European show since back in the day with the Eagles.

I saw him this past May and his show was great! He usually comes out to the audience before or after and people say he is really great with the fans during Meet n Greet.

I'm happy for him but somebody tell him to play in his home state sometime. The way he avoids us, you'd think he has an outstanding warrant here.

Looking back at this, my "Best of" comment wasn't particularly helpful as a more correct translation of the publicity blurb is "greatest hits".

Google translate:
"Enjoy with us a firework of the biggest hits of the Eagles with Don Felder, the Mat Sinner Band, our orchestra and some big surprises!"

This does make it sound like Don will be playing with the the Mat Sinner Band and the orchestra.
