    Default Spot the Eagle

This is probably too easy for everyone, but can anyone spot the future Eagle member in this photo?

I know who it has to be but I wouldn't have recognised him. Second from right? How old?

No idea. If this was a Status Quo forum, I would have said Rick Parfitt.

He was in the band from age 15/16 until the time he was 18/19 or so. This was early on, but how early I don't know.

Sweet Randy Meisner, fresh from the farm. Look how high up he used to wear his bass. Through the years it got progressively lower.

Gerry, of Gerry and the Pacemakers explained that he used to wear his guitar high so he could see where to put his fingers but as he got better, he was able to wear it a bit lower.

That's true, it's harder to play your instrument when it's slung low. Most of us practice when we're sitting, so obviously when you stand things shift a bit. There's quite a few YouTube videos on this very subject! Man, I wish all this information had been around when I was a young 'un.

I have a friend who plays bass and he has his bass pass his waist. I don't know how he plays his bass soo low, but he's also very tall. So its probably comfortable that way.

I didn't know that about some bassist who play their bass so high up. John Entwistle use to play his bass up that high. Mostly all guitarist and bassist have it right at their waist and just a little below their waist but mostly at their waist.

I almost didn't recognize Randy. Now I see it is Randy.

It's hard to recognize him in the early photos, he looked so different. Still cute as hell though

By the time he joined Pogo/Poco in '68, he looked like future Eagle Randy

Randy to me looks like Eagles Randy in the "The Poor" photo. But, if the credits that Randy sung lead on this are correct, I wouldn't have recognised Randy's voice here:

EDIT: Or here, song written by "Randall Meisner".
