    Default Best Eagles song for a memorial serice

    Hello everyone,
    I am here to ask for assistance.
    My dear Mum lost her battle with cancer yesterday and I am planning her memorial service to be held next Friday.
    Whilst in palliative care both her and I were comforted by the Eagles music.
    I am over whelmed at the moment - there are so many beautiful songs but can you give me some suggestions on a special Eagle song that might be appropriate to play at a funeral.
    I can only think of No More Stormy Nights but open to other suggestions.
    This will be a non religious ceremony.

    I'm very sorry for your loss, Jane. "It's Your World Now" might be an appropriate song to play.

    I'm sorry for your loss, Jane. "The Unclouded Day" reminds me of relatives that have passed, so it could be appropriate. It's a Don Henley song, but if you'd rather have an Eagles song, I understand. The song is reggae sounding.

    I've always kind of wanted Desperado to be played at my own funeral, but it might not be quite appropriate. I can't decide.

    "Desperado" and "Bitter Creek," depending upon circumstances, would be solid choices. Same goes for "My Man."

    I have always wanted "Journey of the Sorcerer" played at my own, and some of the lyrics to "King of Hollywood" etched into a tombstone were I to go the burial route.

    Hmm, Desperado is one of my favorite songs, but I'm trying to think how it would be appropriate for a memorial service? I guess maybe the last part, but parts of it could seem a little strange at a funeral, IMHO.
