What a beautiful shot! Thanks, FP!

Love it. What year was this ?
Wonderful shot, but so bittersweet. I see his wrists and hands taped up and my heart just hurts for him. You can see the toll the pain took on his face. And while I think yeah, he knew the fans expected him to play, etc., I think it was much deeper than that. He HAD to play. It was so much a part of his soul that he had to do it, in spite of the pain. And that fighting spirit he had wouldn't let him just lie down and let the pain get him. He was going to fight it tooth and toenail. And he did.
Bless him. I know it must have been so hard. I know no one wanted to lose him, but I wouldn't wish another minute of pain on him or anyone with RA, or any other painful condition.
To lighten the mood. I wish the resolution were better, but something about this picture... Wowowowowow.
