Maybe "I'm already gone" lol.

From that song, a lot of people do like the following quote: "So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we have the key."

Is that a good senior quote though? Hmm, I don't know; it depends on what you're trying to say.

A quote I've always found fun, if not "deep", is from "James Dean": "I know my life would look alright if I could see it on the silver screen."

But probably the one I would pick is from "Part of Me, Part of You": "Whatever time may take away, it cannot change the way we feel today."

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I definitely like the quotes about making your mark and all that (ex. "be part of something good / leave something good behind" (It's Your World Now)), but while I also like some of the more sly lyrics like "all the knowledge in the world is of no use to fools" (Long Road Out of Eden) and "so often times it happens that we live our life in chains, but we never even know we have the key" (Already Gone), I think I should lean more on the positive side for this... not sure if I want to look like a cynic for my "lasting legacy"... I'll probably end up going to Eagles Online Central site and look through all the songs to find a quote XD.

Good luck in finding the quote that's just right for you. I didn't contribute much to this thread because every time I thought of one, someone always beat me to it. lol But, here is one from The Last Resort that I like a lot. Hopefully, it isn't a repeat ...

'Who will provide the grand design?
What is yours and what is mine?
'Cause there is no more new frontier
We have got to make it here"
