I have always loved NFA and thought it was a great first album for Glenn. I am still upset no songs are on "Above The Clouds".

Pippin, thanks for the article. I have seen it before and that beer belly quote cracks me up. I have always wondered what he and Don thought of all those statements/quotes about NEVER getting back together.

I used to have the album but somewhere along the line it was lost or disappeared. I would love to buy it again but I know it is hard to find.

Not necessarily hard to find. Vinyl is easy to pick up. For some reason, there have been bidding wars for the CD on eBay. The good news about that is the higher prices are bringing out more CDs for sale and prices seem to be trending downward now.

Happy 36th Birthday to No Fun Aloud.

I did listen to this album one day and its not bad. Some songs I don't like.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I know it's bad form to quote my own post, but for those of you looking for the "No Fun Aloud" CD, there is good news. There are two listed on Amazon for $13 and change:

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/offer-li...=used&qid=&sr=

There used to be three, but one of those is now mine! By the time I used my points and a gift card, I paid 42 cents. An it's great.

    Ah, that completes my collection...

I was so happy to find the CD for 42 cents net, i bought this off eBay with the money I saved on the CD!

Happy 37th Birthday to Glenn's very first solo album. No Fun Aloud.

Absolutely love this album! It's my second favorite. Such a freaking shame how it gets left off every Greatest Hits album. Something's up with that; I am absolutely sure something's up with that behind the scenes.
