Eek! I have just found this brand spankin' new interview with Danny and Jeff Pevar. It's in four parts and it's actual footage, not just audio... you have to understand, this is rare! I am pretty much in heaven right now.
It's definitely worth a watch because they talk about music over the years, how production has changed, and they mention all sorts of artists, and talk for quite a while about Jackson Browne in particular.

I knew you'd watch it if I mentioned JB.I thought of you while they were talking about him. Clearly the interviewer is a big fan. I like how Danny talks about the way he writes with Jackson. "I only go over there if I have an idea. It's not like we sit around and say 'So...got any ideas?'" lol. I love the little insights they give into the writing process - and I'm pretty sure I could listen to him talk about growing up musically in New York forever!

He sometimes appeared a little bored when Jeff was talking, but not knowing his regular behaviors, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that that's just the way he looks. Lol!
As an aside, sometimes I will say to Hubby, "Why are you looking at me like that?" or "Why the look?", and he will reply, " This is just the way I look!" Lol!
Danny has a nice speaking voice.

I know what you mean about the bored thing, but I think it's just him! He and Jeff are really good friends and play with each other in NY/CT as often as they can.
That's funny about your husband. I know someone who is the same - she was telling me that people at work are always asking her why she looks miserable and she's like "I CAN'T HELP MY FACE!" LOL!

I love watching the interplay between them - how they listen to every little sound and feed off each other. I love watching them improvise and giving each other the freedom to do their own thing. It's clear in the interview how much they relish that!
