    Default RIP Rose Marie

The Dick Van Dyke show was definitely before my time. However, my parents loved it, and I loved watching reruns of it with them. Just a few days ago, I watched an episode of it on CBS with them, and we remarked how glad we were that Rose Marie was still with us.

Well, I'm afraid that is no longer true. She has passed away at 94 today.

What a long and amazing life she led!

RIP to trailblazer Rose Marie. She will be missed!

Oh - I am sad to hear this. I loved the Dick Van Dyke Show. Soda, you are right, she sure did have an amazing life and was a trailblazing female actress in tv. I guess Dick Van Dyke is the last one left from the show.

I didn't know she was still alive. So sad.

Yep. That leaves Carl Reiner, Dick Van Dyke, Larry Matthews(who played Richie) that are still alive.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I too watched the repeats on TVLand and loved Rose Marie on there. Really sad to hear this and is really weird how Mary Tyler Moore died back in January and now Rose in December.

forgot about Carl Reiner and Larry Matthews. Truthfully, I did not know Carl Reiner was still alive and I forgot about little Richie.
