Well - you won't get any argument from me there, Soda. Those sure were the days.

Now - sorry that I am 2 days late in posting this, but it is certainly worthy of recognition since we are celebrating Grammy month. On February 18, 1978, the band won for two amazing songs. It is the only year that they won multiple Grammy awards. Congratulations to Hotel California and New Kid In Town!!!

Well, Grammy month is winding down and we only have a couple more mentions to make ...

Today is the 31st anniversary of Heartache Tonight winning its award for Best Rock Vocal Performance By A Duo Or Group.

What an awesome song, and so deserving of that award - Congratulations Heartache Tonight!!!

Well, as we wrap up Grammy month, we have one last award to celebrate. It was 35 years ago today that Lyin' Eyes won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance By A Duo, Group Or Chorus. Again, a very deserving award IMHO - I love the sophisticated layering of the vocals in this song. Congratulations Lyin' Eyes!!!

I have mentioned this before but here's a bit of cool trivia. As far as I know, the Eagles are the only group that has won a Grammy in the pop, rock, and country genres, in addition to, the instrumental category.
