    Default Spandau Ballet

Well my favourite British group of the 1980s released dates for their upcoming 'Soul Boys of the western world' tour today. And the good news is that they will play Dublin on 3rd March!!

I managed to get my tix on presale too! Row 10 (which is really row 5).

I haven't a hope of going and to be honest don't see the need, as they will vein Dublin a few weeks later, but Spandau are playing the Wiltern Theatre in LA on Jan 25th next year. Thats where I went to see Glenn in 2012.

Well it was a wonderful night. I have been very busy this week at work (whats new here?) so at last I have a chance to post a bit about Tuesay Evening.

Firstly we had the meet and greet. Each person was allowed bring one item to be autographed. I managed to leave my DVD on the kitchen table and was going to buy another one, but the goody bag had a lovely lithograph in it, and a lot of people simply got that signed instead. So I followed suit.
So I went in and Martin Kemp said Hello to me. Then Tony Hadley came over to me and shook my hand, then gave me a big hug! I was wearing my high heels with the big fuchsia flowers on them, and he started admiring them, and asked me if I was a shoe designer.!!! I laughed and said no, that I had just liked them when I bought them. Then it was time for the photo with the group (In the meantime they all signed my lithograph). I had the pic taken - I was between Tony and the sax player Steve Norman and the drummer (John Keeble) started talking to me and thanked me for coming in.
Meantime Tony still had the shoes thing going and had the whole band onto my shoes, lol! His parting shot when I was leaving was that I definitely had the 'shoes of the tour'. I wish I could remember more but its funny, it was my first proper meet and greet and it goes by so quickly and you just live for the moment that its difficult to remember every conversation!
But the guys were lovely and very genuine. They did not have any airs or attitude and I left thinking OMG, the fun I could have in a bar with these guys after the show!!!

No photography was allowed but VIP nation uploaded the official pics the day after. After a few hiccups (they did not put in the upload button) I was able to download my official pic on Thursday. Think some of you saw it on FB
