Listening to the album for the first time, and I have to say that it sounds darn good. I've heard about seven songs so far. It bothers some people that Don isn't "proving his chops" on the guitar too much, but I respect this - he seems to think more about the songs than about himself as a player.

Not everything has blown my mind so far, but overall it seems to be a very strong album. I find it slightly funny that the first song reminds me of a song of Glenn's. The "That sweet taste of love keeps..." bit reminds me of "We were left with no choice but to stand up and fight for this land" in Brave New World. So the songs go to the chorus in a similar way.

The only thing that bothers me is that it sounds like there's some kind of an effect (Autotune?) in Don's voice in some songs, and it gets tiring. Or maybe I'm just hearing things...

Road to Forever was released two years ago today! Hardly seems that long!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROAD TO FOREVER!
