Sure was awesome !! I met him twice. Both times at book signings. He is a very kind and gracious person. It was tough for me to not break down and cry, but I was able to tell him how much he means to me. It was very emotional for me. Here's a pic of him holding my hand when I started to cry. It was one of the best days ever.

Am I a fan? I can't even BREATHE at the moment. Along with Guns N Roses and Cinderella (the big 3 as I refer to them), Motley Crue provided most of the soundtrack to my adult life. Unfortunately, I have a lot more in common with them than the average fan, in the way of drug abuse. But as most of you know, I'm clean these days and only addicted to music and concerts. I've developed a special bond with Nikki because of the drug use. Sounds kooky perhaps, but I feel as if I could talk to him for days on end if I met him in person and he let me.

That being said, because it's their final tour, I am going for it and doing it up right with a VIP package that includes meet & greet. I know that I will just die and not live to tell you all about it. He was at the top of my bucket list, yes, even above Slash and now it's about to happen.

And Witchy? I have a feeling that I am going to cry and become hysterical. I can't even think about it without my eyes welling up with tears!

As for the final tour and it all coming to an end, I am extremely sad. They were the one group from my 80's days that could still sell out arena's and remind me of days long gone! However, I do respect their decision for wanting to go out on top AND applaud them for wanting to end it with the same 4 original members. What a salute to the brotherhood and family they have become.

Maybe I'm not as ok with it being over as I thought I was....

Just bought 4 tickets to the July 4th show for my son, Tom. Somehow, I have to not spill the beans about it until his b-day in March.
