Possibly only available to UK residents, but I've just seen that Stevie is the guest on Johnnie Walker's Sounds of the 70s show on BBC2 Radio tomorrow (Sunday 28 Aug) afternoon at 3pm - 5pm.
Presumably already recorded, as the paper says that she talks about the emotional strain of her on- and off-stage relationship with Lindsey, her battle against drug addiction, and her solo career.

Check this out - we can stream the new Buddy Holly tribute album. Stevie sings the first song. Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt do songs on this tribute album too (BTW I love Monty Python but Eric Idle's "Raining in My Heart" is cringe-worthy).

Thanks for that Soda, just having a listen now...........but one glaringly obvious error that jumped out at me - Let's Fade Away????

eta. haven't listened to it all yet - but, so far I love Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Jeff Lynne & Lyle Lovett's versions!

I haven't had time to listen to the whole thing yet but this video has clips of all the songs except Linda Ronstadt's. I think her song on the album is the version she recorded in 1976.

    News just in!

Stevie will be performing 3 of her classic hits on the CBS daytime show "The Talk" on Tuesday (September 13th).

Can anyone say "Edge Of Seventeen"?! Who wants to bet though that it will be like the other shows and be "Rhiannon", "Landslide", and "For What It's Worth". Which isn't a bad lineup don't get me wrong but I REALLY want to hear "Edge". My favorite Stevie solo tune and one of my favorites of hers overall.

Me too, Austin, but before America's Got Talent, Stevie had never performed Edge of Seventeen on a TV show. The reason is that it is a longer song and they usually want something shorter. The night of America's Got Talent also happened to be the 30th anniversary of the release of Stevie's first solo album Bella Donna which featured Edge of Seventeen, so that's why I think she went ahead and did it that night.

However, if she were to do it again, that would be absolutely terrific!

Was just reading the journal entries from Stevie that Soda had linked in the Stevie and Don thread. Very moving.

This entry stuck out to me....

How many times have we all said that?

Does she share all her journal entries or was this an exception?

Stevie will sometimes share excerpts from her journals but doing so to this extent was unprecedented and hasn't been repeated. However, like I said, she will occasionally give us glimpses!

This was brought to my attention this morning, Stevie to be on The Talk today. Here's the promo I found online.
