Since I've had to catch up on work after my adventures last week, I haven't had time to listen to all of the interviews - to my great shame and mortification. I will have to do so ASAP!

Just listened to it once through and starting to listen to certain tracks again.

The verdict is that I like it!! More than I thought I would, even.

Route 66 is definitely my favorite. I love his version. I just have always liked that song. For Sentimental Reasons is probably my 2nd favorite right now. That or Caroline, No.

This is something I could see myself listening to in the background to relax or to fall asleep. It's pretty different than what I'm used to but I like it. It's not the slow depressing stuff which is good as I don't need any help in that area. But they are very calming. That said, "Same Girl" I think is probably my least favorite.

I got to thinking of other songs of this type that I'd like to hear him cover and I thought of a few. I'll make a list in a bit.

Isn't it beautiful? It's from his performance last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Mine's supposed to be leaving St. Louis this morning. I will choke if I get it today! Grrrrrrr!

Last time I pre-order from Amazon! I thought that that meant I would get it by the release date. I'm not a happy camper!

I really enjoy this album. Glenn's voice sounds great!

Based off the first listen my favorites are Route 66, It's Too Soon To Know, Caroline No, The Look of Love, Worried Mind and After Hours.

Have been listening to "After Hours" again for about the umteenth time and I'm loving this 'kinder, gentler" side of Glenn. As for a favorite song the jury is still out but I'm leaning toward I Wanna Be Around as my #1. His voice is so clear and rich on that cut...sends chills down my spine! Honestly, he could pick up the pieces of my heart any day. This whole CD is quite a departure from his Eagles work and his previous solo ventures but it is absolutely a joy to listen to over and over. (NOW I'd like to hear him sing "Unforgettable".) The title track is also FAN-TAS-TIC....definitely my #2.
You were just too busy being FABULOUS....
