I noticed this didn't get revived on the anniversary of its release (yesterday).

As we're doing for other albums, I'm going to rank these songs from most favorite to least favorite:

    1. I Know
    2. Fairbanks, Alaska
    3. It's All Right
    4. Vote for Me
    5. Certain Situations
    6. The Friend Song
    7. Shut Up
    8. Decades
    9. Songs for a Dying Planet
    10. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
    11. Coyote Love

Always in our hearts, Never forgotten

Happy 19th birthday to Joe's most recent album, Songs For a Dying Planet. Its not Joe's best work but still has some decent songs on it. I have high hopes that his new album will be better

Here's my list from favorite to least favorite:

    1. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
    2. Fairbanks Alaska
    3. I Know
    4. Shut Up
    5. Certain Situations
    6. Vote For Me
    7. It’s All Right
    8. Decades
    9. The Friend Song
    10. Song For A Dying Planet
    11.Coyote Love

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SONGS FOR A DYING PLANET!!!

Sorry this is late - I didn't mean to slight Joe. This week has been so hectic that I haven't had time to post in the last few days. I will be happy to compile the results here as I have been doing for other solo albums, but I honestly can't post a list right now. I've heard all these songs, but I'm not familiar enough with them to rank them. Hopefully, I can find some time to give them a listen and come up with a list.

Happy Birthday Songs For A Dying Planet!

I agree with everyone else - it's not his best work but still a good album.

I just ordered a used copy of this from Amazon and just got it tonight. I kinda like it actually, more than I thought I was going to.

Some good playing on it. Only heard it once but will write again when I've absorbed it more.

I have heard Shut Up. Songs For A Dying Planet and Decades before (b/c I also have the Look What I Did! CD collection.)

Decades is stunning. I liked that the moment I heard it. Shut Up gives me a good giggle because I can picture this song like a music video in my mind.
