Can I just state the latest one about Glenn's proposed 'homage to Detroit' album, is a classic.

It is weird because I was listening to Prince's Sexy MF yesterday....

Soda, these are great. But so far, I think the prize goes to Glenn's 'homage to Detroit'

Glad you enjoyed 'em guys! I'm going to delete them off the blog now so future site visitors don't get confused! But, for the sake of posterity, here were the Events in Eagles History for April Fool's Day in order of their fake happening!

1976: Don Henley files restraining order against Lindsey Buckingham, who’d been threatening to “shave his 'fro while he slept” for “stealing” Stevie Nicks

1981: Timothy B. Schmit is sued by Holiday Inn for more than $20,000 in damages for the hundreds of room keys he stole over the years

1985: Glenn Frey files lawsuit against company using his image to advertise “Allnighter” aphrodisiacal accoutrements

1988: Glenn Frey makes guest appearance on “The Golden Girls” as male stripper hired by Sophia

1989: Joe Walsh invents the internet

1992: PETA organizes boycott of Joe Walsh records and shows, protesting “Coyote Love” as a song that promotes animal abuse

2002: Timothy B. Schmit stopped in street by crazed fan, handcuffed to stop sign, and forced to perform entire solo catalog to obtain release

2008: Glenn Frey announces intention to do solo album of his hits reworked as hip hop in homage to Detroit's new sound: "Take It Easy, Mutha F*****!"

2009: Eagles announce free show for fans, scheduled for April 1, 2010! Call 1-800-DREAMON for tickets - first 500 only!

All day long, I was wondering if anyone was going to say anything or just "let it ride". I love how each event got increasingly far-fetched as the day went on. Great job again, Soda!
