That is a cool looking guitar. Thanks for posting that Deb.

$4,390 retail on that axe. There is a blusey demo of it here. I think I'll probably wait until after Christmas to run out and get one.

The guy in the center is playing the JBD-100. The other guy on the right is playing a JBD-800.

This link was posted by 3Encore on their Facebook this morning.

Not much about Joe but that beautiful picture of him holding that custom made guitar (thank you Austin for telling us that!) is also included.

Some salvage statements from Joe down under, plus a blurb from Ringo. I could play w/Joe forever too.....

    Joe Walsh is briefly mentioned

Page purchased the sunburst ’59 Gibson Les Paul Standard that would become hallowed as his “Number One” from Joe Walsh in April 1969 during a tour of the U.S. in the wake of Led Zeppelin. ..................But the six-string from Walsh was different. It felt perfect in his hands and on his shoulders – where it would hang for thousands of iconic concerts – and conjured the heavy sound he envisioned in a nearly effortless manner.

Yup he got his main Les Paul from Walsh. I'm in the process of converting one of my LP's (my #1) to look AND sound like Page's #1.

    Joe interview with Chinese press.

"Eagles ranks among the best-known Western groups among Chinese. Every Chinese person who listens to Western pop music knows them," said DJ Zhang Ming of Love Radio, a 24-hour music radio channel in Shanghai.

Cool! I just saw this same interview on Joe's site along with the "new" photo here.

Interesting - wonder what the changes will be? I kind of get the feeling from this statement he means more classic hits and less LROOE. Hope I'm wrong.

I also think it's funny that he believes Chinese audiences will be "more polite." How so, I wonder? Of course he may have just been joking about how concerned Chinese society is with etiquette.

Maybe he means nobody will be throwing their knickers at the stage

I've read somewhere else that the band felt that the Japanese audience are 'very respectful'. They listen to the music rather than participate along. Each to their own. . I want to be singing away with them and having fun when they come back to London, hopefully this year. Really embarrass my DD.

My turn to be a pedant: the '14 year vacation' quote was wrongly attributed.

I don't know what they will play in China. Given how unresponsive they seemed to think Australia was to the newer songs it would not surprise me if most of them vanished.

I hadn't seen any of those photos either.
