Yep - It is Brooke. I had a corporate apartment and I could lay in my bed or sit in the living room and have a perfect view of the Gateway Arch.

My son goes to school in this little town. The University is the school of mining rated #14 in the country anyhow these are some of the cool rocks they have discovered in this little mining town that used to mine copper.

We've been in flood stage around here for the past month or so and an old iron bridge has collapsed from it. Thought you might like to see a little history! Not a lot of people used it anymore, mainly the people who live in the immediate area. It's just a few miles from me and my mom lived near it when she was a kid. Built in 1910.
June 26-farm land on the other side is also flooded
June 27-beginning to bend up, it collapsed the next evening.
July 5-gone and waters receded
July 5-what's left
Sad to see.

Good heavens Brooke, is this summer unusual with the rain you have been having. I must say it must be sad to see the bridge going. Will they replace it as is or will they put up a more 'modern' version in its place? I'm sure you'd like to see the character of the original one.
