I have heard of it. I never watched it.

For context, I want to say that my comment was moved from another thread.
Shun said something along the lines that Glenn wasn't as well known as ... and gave a list that included Alan Thicke. I had never heard of him or any of his shows.

Like FP, I haven't heard of many of people who have RIP threads here.

I can see how the loss of context makes it a bit awkward... sorry for any confusion caused by my reorganization.

No problem. I just wanted to clarify.

Had no idea (why would I though...) that Barry Gibb was a very close friend to Alan Thicke. Barry posted a message on his Facebook page:

This is devastating. Alan was a lifelong friend and losing him now is an enormous shock. In the deepest sense, Alan was my brother. My family and I send our condolences to his family. I will dwell on his humor and outlook on life forever. I will miss you my dear friend.

I saw online that Don Felder's girlfriend, Kathrin was also friends with Alan. She was at Alan's memorial service.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
