Just watched these videos and I wanted to say that I think you've done a fantastic job with these. The music and vocals are spot on, it really does feel like listening to the original Eagles songs even though I know it isn't.

Here are links to the other two songs, One Of These Nights and New Kid In Town, so everyone else can enjoy them.

As much as I love the other two, I think One Of These Nights is perhaps my favourite rendition - the strength of the bass and guitar parts of the original are there as well as the terrific harmony vocals. I feel that one of the many things that makes OOTN such a great song is the matching of the high vocals with the testosterone-fuelled lyrics and the distorted R&B-inspired guitars. I've heard other covers of it which I personally think made it sound a bit 'weak', whereas I find this one captures the swagger of the Eagles version.

In short, brilliant job so far and I hope you will do some more of their songs (I'd be happy with virtually anything as there really aren't many Eagles songs I don't like).

thanks so much for giving your time to check out the vids and your kind words are sincerely appreciated! Also, thanks for going to the trouble to share the other links.

I agree, OOTN is for me a perfect song if there is one! All the things you mentioned so very well - the production is just the best. I continue to be amazed at the tools and creativity this band had when working as a group. Don Felder is such a fine player - i just never tire of listening to his work.

    thanks again, dale.

Welcome to The Border, mb. And nice job - I enjoyed listening to your videos. Does the band cover any other Eagles songs?

Jonny - i want to thank you again for the links you posted and i don't want to be 'too much' but i think i'll start new threads with them for people who might not see them here. If that is overload i hope the mods will just delete - don't want to offend but would like to share the vids with all interested. Hope that makes sense, dale.
