Yep - I like In the City much better live that the recorded version. And I would agree that the video has been edited.

Ah, how I love Buffalo!!! They sound great and HFO is my fave look for Glenn, as I've said many a time before.

ITA, Soda! HFO is arguably my favorite era for the band. I feel they were in their (HS&G!) prime in the mid '90s.

BTW, I noticed one of the credited guitar techs was Jesse Felder. That's Don's oldest son, correct?

Yes, he's Don's oldest son. He talked about it in his book. And I agree about HFO being the most HS&G looks for the guys as a whole. For Glenn, give me the mid 80s with the stubble.

I just saw this for the first time.

It inspired my thread in the touring section.

Glenn, Joe, and Stu ALL did IMPROVISED solos! How cool is that?! Normally the band goes for exacting replications and this is the first time I've heard them stretch out a bit.

When the Eagles performed Dirty Laundry during the HFO tour, Joe played the first guitar solo, as he does on the recorded version, Felder played the end solo, originally played by Steve Lukather. After Felder's exit, Glenn, Steuart and then Joe again took over the end solo that's nothing like Lukather's original but still great!

    Thanks for the vid WalshFan88.

Thanks for the link UTW. I love the harmonies, Felder's great, subbing for Randy, and the strumming in unison. Synchronised strumming could be a lousy Olympic sport
