Dang, I so wanna go on this trip, but I'm two years out on getting my retirement money! If you guys are still around then, maybe you can go with me again! I'd love to have tour guides!

OMG Brooke - That would be awesome. Hopefully, we'll still be around. For sure, we'll be around if the guys are still around ... <hint> <hint> Glenn, Don, Joe, and Timothy!

I think it'd be cool to find the exact spots they were photographed at Joshua Tree, but it would be next to impossible!

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
LOL PFD! That was exactly what I was picturing, us walking around with pictures & the album trying to find the exact spot.
Still it would be cool just to drive out to Joshua Tree.
Brooke - I would definitely go back with you!
this is an excellent thread!
as prettymaid mentioned...I've posted about this before (it's lame that they took that article down!) and I definitely want to do this trip. I've been to California a dozen times including LA and Joshua Tree (it's a magical place! that was very Gram Parsons centric for me at the time, but my JT mix cds included EAGLES of course ) , but never did an Eagles specific tour. I have friends out there I need to visit too. It's been a few years since I've been out there. I'm gonna make it happen sooner or later!
I also just want to do a cross country roadtrip from NY to CA. with a stop in Winslow, AZ of course!
if I think of anything I can add, I will.
If I can't have it all, just a taste will do...
source:http://losangeles.about.com/od/artse...esidents_8.htmLaurel Canyon was home to Glenn Frey of The Eagles, who lived in a little hacienda on the corner of Kirkwood and Ridpath Drive. It was jokingly referred to as 'The Kirkwood Casino and Health Club' by its guests. The dwelling was the notorious site of many a marathon poker game and all-night drug and alcohol binge.
I looked at google maps street view, and though I could guess, not sure exactly which house was his without the exact address (if it's even still standing in it's original form) but would still be a fun drive-by on the itinerary!
