Default My Vote for Round 4: Ordinary Average Guy

Well, this one took some thought. I don't like the stuff at the beginning of Meadows either, but I think other than that it's a strong song. Ordinary Average Guy is funny and clever, but it can get a bit repetitive.

I cast my vote for Ordinary Average Guy.

P.S. Good work making The Confessor immune, ticky!

Thanks Soda, I love The Confessor and I think it deserves another look. Please ignore the video, it is creepy but it's the song we're voting on.
Also, I was going to vote for The Bomber this round, but ya know, the Bolero riff in that alone deserves a LOT of respect. When the song was first released, Bolero was still covered by copyright laws and it had to be removed from the song till the copyright ran out on the song, then he put it back in. Joe's mom was a classically trained concert pianist and, no doubt, passed those skills on. It is a really beautiful piece.
So, with that said, I vote for Medows. It's a great song too with excellent guitar work (but what of Joe's DOESNT have great guitar work *G*) but it is my least favorite of the left overs.

I agree with you about The Bomber & the use of Bolero, ticky, which is one of my favourite classical pieces. The song is very innovative and ahead of its time.

I love the lyrics of Meadows 'sent here because ya said so/waitin' around to fall' and I hope it doesn't go too early.

I cast my vote for Ordinary Average Guy.

I wouldn't want to see Meadows going too early either. Once you get past the beginning it's a great song, particularly good in the car! I'm going to stick with my guns and cast my vote for Ordinary Average Guy.

You are absolutely right, PM! I even looked it up, but had MB on the brain for some reason!

I'm sticking with Meadows for this round. Please go.

And ticky, I figured someone would come up with that!
