That picture of Plant; man, I feel sorry for him. That must have been taken long before the Zep got big. I mean, man, he couldn't afford a haircut, the buttons must have fallen off the remnant of cloth he was having to wear as a shirt and from his expression: looks like he's got his nose against the window outside a pastry shop. I'll bet he had jeans that had holes in them too!

    Poor Robert. <sigh>

That is such a man!!!! God he was gorgeous. I use to flip flop back and forth between him and Jimmy! I loved the way Jimmy worked that guitar but then I would see this video (check out Robert here-he was the whole package!) OMG!!

I'm not sure about this but Moderator, delete it if it is not something we can post here.

Thought Led Zep fans might like this ringtone: Blackdog. It is MP3 and is only 178KB in size so should work on most phones.

I just don't understand it. I play the same notes as Jimmy Page on Black Dog, but it just don't sound the same <LOL>

Here's what I got with Black Dog out of my system:

I sped it up a touch to get it closer to the original's speed. Okay, that's cheating, but I'm not angel <LOL>

Awhhhh shucks Willie. Thanks. I've been going through a ton of amp models trying to figure out what Page was using for the recording. That was the closest I've found so far...A Marshal that was really cranked on gain.

The thing that I can't match is the tone from a Les Paul Standard and it's overwound humbucking pickups that Page used. Nothing I have comes even close to that sound.
