Check out these bands,if you haven't already, Head East, Pure Praire League, Ozark Mountain Dardevils, Charlie Daniel's Band, Chuck Wagon and the Wheels, these are all country/rock/swing bands some sound similar to Marshall Tucker,Poco and the like.....I'm sure you're very familiar with a lot of bands.
Love Head East and Pure Prairie League. I've played "Amie" now and again in our group. Head East was great. I like the Charlie Daniels Band as well. Will check out Chuck Wagon and the Wheels and Ozark Mountain Daredevils!

    Thanks for the recommendation...

Been to a couple of Eagles shows and at each show, Glenn Frey talks about liking Tempchin's Peaceful Easy Feelin' because it reminded him of Poco and he wanted the Eagles to sound like them. Naturally, this is prior to introducing TBS but it's still a nice acknowledgement.

Austin, I am so glad you have discovered Poco! Such a great band! Amazon has a CD with Rose of Cimmaron and Head Over Heels. 2 great albums. Lots of good songs. You should definitely check it out.

How historic! Wonder if they'll ever do that again?

I had the TV on, only half watching The Chew, when I happened to look up as they introduced their guests, Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman who are starring in Manhattan Love Story beginning tonight. But what really caught my attention was the shirt Analeigh was wearing. It had a large picture on the front and said "Poco" above and "Cantamos" below. I haven't listened to that particular album in ages! It will celebrate it's 40th anniversary this November. It always tickles me to see someone so young (I think she's about 25) who is apparently a fan of the 'classics'! Time for a musical trip down memory lane.
I just need a little downtime.........

I still have a few Poco shirts, but they are tiny & I can barely get into them, but I don't think I've ever even seen a Cantamos shirt???
I have to look at my collection again, maybe I have one & just don't remember it...LOL My memory is not the greatest these days!
