    Default RIP Holly Dunn

Probably not many Borderers are familiar with her, but she was a talented Country singer-songwriter. Her hits were heard frequently on Country radio in the 80s. She wrote a song, "Daddy's Hands" that reminds me of my own father, esp. the line "I remember Daddy's hands folded silently in prayer..."

This is sad for me; she was only 59.

I hope the Grim Reaper gives it a rest for awhile.

Aww. That's sad. I remembered a few months ago they announced she had cancer.

    She had a beautiful voice.

    RIP Holly.

RIP Holly Dunn. She was young too. My Mom loves her songs, especially "Daddy's Hands". It took on a whole new meaning after my grandpa/my Mom's dad passed away and now makes me think of him too.

I sure hate to hear that. I didn't even know she was sick. I always liked her song "Love Someone Like Me". Prayers for her family.

Love Someone Like Me is one of my favorites, too.
