A article about the historic hotels of Colorado, and Don gets a mention for the Brown Palace in Denver.

Well now he's up against the Beatles and Here Comes The Sun in the UCR Greatest Summer Song Battle. This will be tough one for him, but you can all guess which one I'm voting for!

I like Here Comes the Sun, but I love BOS, and BOS is currently in the lead!

Now BOS is up against Bryan Adams' Summer of '69. I love both songs, but BOS is the better one still. Right now, Summer of '69 is in the lead.

Apparently Don gets a mention in a book that's out.

WOW!!! I thought the mattress story came from the vivid imagination of Don Felder. I'm sorry but I can't even imagine having to cart a bed across the world & back!

How generous of Don to step up and fund the Water Tower study for Linden.

And as far as Don's traveling hotel bed, I guess it was worth it if it helped his bad back. Lucky for his back that he wasn't the one that had to put it up and tear it down night after night!

Felder can't be held responsible for everything, jms, 'though I know he is creative in more fields than music! He seems to have a vivid imagination.

....as for the bed, speaking as someone who has chronic neck problems, I have to take my own pillows with me whenever I go. Granted, they're easier to manage than a WHOLE bed, but I do understand where Don's coming from. You'd try anything to ease the pain and if there are people there to carry the bed for you, well why not if it helps you sleep???
...Well it sure makes you wonder the things that some people will say. They can see black and white but they don't seem to notice the grey...
