I think I saw somewhere...that he never had any voice training until after he had the surfboard accident...but I think it just might be the kind of songs Poco did...the only songs he sings lead with the Eagles are ballads...wasn't the case with Poco...they did foot stompin' music!!...just a thought...

I also noticed a change from his Poco days when he was with the Eagles. Maybe it was just him maturing as well as the different types of songs. I love him either way.

I think it was around 2007...was in Hawaii...big wave caused surfboard to come up and caught him right in the throat...bruised his larynx..and it took six months for him to recover...but I got to talk to Hank Linderman after one of Timothy's solo shows last summer...He told me it actually took 3 years before Timothy's voice was back to normal...It was after this accident that he started working with a vocal coach to rehab his voice...

I wouldn't have picked Timothy as a surfer! I wonder if it was something that he was in to when he was younger? Either way good to see he still gets out there!
