So far, I only see west coast dates on his schedule, so I'm not sure he will even be coming out east. Trying to be optimistic, but there's a chance he may just stay close to home. If he does come to NY, I will be thrilled because I missed the last time he was here, & I'm still pretty bummed about that, but I guess we'll see what happens & if he adds more dates after the holidays!

What a rush this must have been for him just getting with the Eagles.

"When I was first part of The Eagles, we did Giants Stadium in 1980. We were playing in front of 60,000 people, a huge event. After the show, we ran into New Jersey State police cars and were whisked across the parking lot to waiting helicopters. I always remember that video of Timothy working with The Blind Boys of Alabama on Secular Praise, and there being that moment where he says something like, "Why are you doing that?" and they say "Because that's what the music says to do", and he says something like, "Well, don't go by the music, go by me."

Maybe someone can post that because I know I don't have the quotes right, but that's the general gist of it. Whenever I hear that I always think that I love the way he handles that.

But yeah, I think he needs to stop referring to Expando as "new." He can refer to it as his "most recent album" or his "latest release" - but it's not "new."

Took special note of this regarding the Eagles' upcoming 40th anniversary:

"as far as touring, I haven’t heard, so far there’s nothing planned."

No touring planned for next year??? But a few weeks ago Joe was saying there would be a tour - even that there would be a new setlist! Maybe Timothy just hasn't been informed...but wouldn't they say something to him in Vegas?

Or maybe something else is going on. Something not good.

Aww - I wouldn't get too worked up about it at this point. It's surely not the first time the guys weren't on the same page as far as the band's plans. I mean why change things now when everything's been working so beautifully for the last 40 years!
