Yesterday on my travels, I was wearing a Bob Seger tshirt. The flight attendant smiled at me as I left the plane (she'd been dedicated to first class) and said she loved Bob Seger, that she'd seen him 'a few weeks ago' (I think she said weeks) at a private show. Very small. Like 20 or 25 people. We were filing off the plane, so I couldn't ask for details. I just told her I was jealous and left it at that. Can you imagine?

no I can't imagine...wonder who paid for that and what kind of change it cost? wow...He was so amazing last month when I saw him...oh and of course Joe too!

Bob's new album is available for pre-order on Amazon, it comes out on 10/14! WooHoo! Here's hoping that he announces a tour. I loves me some Seger! Since our guys haven't announced anything, solo or together except for Down Under, I need something to occupy my time!

VA- how strange is this- My husband was just talking about Bob Seger about five minutes ago- so I went to The Seger Website and saw the new album release info- I told my husband that hopefully means Seger will be touring- I love Bob Seger and the last time I saw him was in 1980. My husband has never seen him and would love to- I signed up for the email alerts to get info on when he hopefully tours!

I saw him in 1980, too! First concert I ever attended! It was late 79 or early 80, I can't remember. I've been to see him twice in the last three years, once in Pittsburgh and once in NYC. Like the Eagles, he plays his songs pretty much as they were recorded, and he's still got it, still puts on a great show, and doesn't rely on gimmicks. Definitely, go see him if you have the chance.

A tour!!! Yay!!! This will help ease the pain of no Eagles shows announced. Help, but not solve... It's a shame I don't know where I'll be living or working this winter, so I could plan this out!
