I can definitely see that. Funny, he's from Texas, too!

Lol, DJ, neither one is my son; they are both Hollywood actors. It was priscillaupstate who posted a picture of her son.

I see that Hugh Jackman will be playing Gary Hart in a film called The Frontrunner. Will there be a Don Henley character to hold an infamous party? Who could play a 1988 Henley?

Noticed while watching "Grantchester" recently that British actor Robson Green reminds me of older Glenn. He also reminds me of Scott Bakula too, which I've seen on here and see myself the comparisons to older Glenn too. Plus Robson's also a musician/singer as well and would work if they were to have an older and younger actor play each Eagle.

Did Hart meet Donna Rice at a Henley party? I remember Henley called her a bimbo. Or was that Patti Davis?

I'm kind of surprised this story is apparently getting a major treatment with an A-list star. Many people don't remember it/weren't alive when it happened.

Delilah, maybe we could have another thread at some point Eagles Who Cook. It was interesting to learn that Don cooked for his own lavish party. I'd have taken the easy way out and had it catered.

I think Hollywood's been scraping the barrel for some time now. But there may also be some nostalgia at play too. Gary Hart was supposed to be the Next Big Thing, if memory serves me right. If it doesn't, I'm sure the filmmaker will make it seem like it was so. Henley's "character" might well have a cameo here as UTW suggested.

Oooh, NMB, such a good idea! I'd love that kind of thread if we can get enough subject matter.

That would be something. I bet most of them are probably ok cooks . I'll bet Glenn and Don and some of the other guys probably loved /love grilling at family get togethers.
