Making me move in LA, California
    From my curb-side spot
    Man, I’m getting hot.

    Can’t contain my excitement
He turns, I scream “OH NO!”
    Realizing it ain’t Timothy B.
    But that danged ol’ Fabio!
    So funny Cynd!!! ROFLMBO!!!

I'm just having fun like everyone else....and this a GREAT thread. I love the imagination of everybody AND their originality. I'm beginning to think we could be on to something here, like a parody album (ala Weird Al Yankovick for those who are old enough to remember him).

Your lyrics are awesome, Cynd. The bit that anne-o-gg quoted had me rolling, too

you better put it all behind you, baby, 'cause life goes on

Thanks. Glad you found them entertaining. Now for the real laugh --

I got rid of my ball & chain years ago, been flying solo for ages and love it. Though I admit that I'd give up all the freedom in the world for a shot at you-know-who if I had the opportunity.

This one is about that multiple show syndrome!

[To the tune of Tequila Sunrise]

    It's another great Eagles concert
Tickets cost so much to buy
    But I'm in line
And hey, it's just my ninety-ninth
Workin' on my hundredth the next night
    The shows fly by

Every night when the sun goes down
It's another concert, one more town
    And I am rockin' out

Well, yes, I'm spending lots of money
And I couldn't keep my former job
    Too much "time off"
But oh, it's such a lovely feeling
When they come out and sing "How Long"
    And play their songs

Taking on a massive card debt
Lost gas and heat and electricity
    Home's my Chevy

But it's another great Eagles concert
Who cares if setlists look the same
    Still glad I came

Always in our hearts, Never forgotten
