Surgery went well! My eye is sore but not too bad. Surgeon said it looked great today at my post op appt. My eyes are straight again!

Austin, so glad the operation went well!! I was thinking about you throughout the day, so thank you for updating via FB as soon as you did.

I found that a cousin is suffering from a lung disease, the same one that his brother died from(Interstitial Lung Disease). He's been moved into a critical care unit near Norfolk, VA, so to me that doesn't sound very good. I'm hoping that going to a place with 'real' medical care will help. His wife is very upset that the doctors didn't figure it out sooner, and of course I couldn't mention that when you choose to live in a place where the nearest tiny hospital is over an hour drive away this is the kind of medical treatment you get. He's 76 or 77, and far too young, in my opinion, to be in this condition. My heart breaks for both of them, and his wife seems to be having a crisis of faith over it. Any and all prayers for both of them would be appreciated.

Thanks, everyone! When it rains, it pours...my aunt is back in the hospital, she collapsed at the doctor's office today. Apparently they've had her on Lasix to reduce fluid in her lungs for the pneumonia, and now she's severely dehydrated. She's been staying with my mother the last couple weeks, and no one told Mom that she should drink more due to this drug. Mom feels bad, but I told her, the home health nurses who come every day should have noticed something was wrong or asked questions. Hopefully, the idiot doctor will reduce the dosage or remove it altogether. Annabelle is 89...she doesn't need to have the doctors screwing things up.

The good news is that my SIL had surgery today on her neck and has come through it pretty well.

My life seems to be pretty boring these days. Work, go home, cook, eat, back to meeting at work, home, sleep. Do it all again!

Oops, ETA: I just got Sirius radio hooked back up in my car yesterday! Got a great offer in the mail of 5 months for $20 and cancel anytime, so I decided to go for it! But, it took them 5 days of back and forth phone calls to get it programmed in to my car! Much surprise when I went home from work yesterday and it came on! And they gave me a $14.00 credit for all the hassle!
