Timothy has always seemed like a ' band ' guy to me, although he was kind of the front man in his smaller bands before the Eagles (correct me if I'm wrong). Maybe the Board members who have seen him solo could speak to whether or not he was comfortable with being out front.
Then again, if it made him uncomfortable with it, he wouldn't have made any solo albums.

That's really cool MC. Thanks for sharing it. I have to admit that as the lead singer was headed for the chorus I started to cringe a little cause I knew he'd never make it - ha ha. Luckily the other guy takes over!

I was lucky enough to see him solo twice. I think he was a little nervous when the set started and then he seemed to really start to enjoy himself. He told little stories about the songs on Expando. He was very generous to all the others in the band which seemed to be the sweet person he is
When we saw him in Clearwater he was excited that he had his first sold out show. He did a couple songs, looked down at two empty seats and said I wonder where these people are. It was so cute!!!!

I know, I like it when the other guy takes over!!

Thanks, SM, I can try to move or copy these over to the Eagles thread.

I was lucky enough to see Timothy both times he did solo tours. The first time he didn't seem to be totally comfortable, which is perfectly understandable. However, he loosened up as the show went on and was very charming and entertaining. On the secolnd tour, he seem a lot more relaxed and talkative. It seemed like most of the butterflies were gone. I never thought I would get a chance to see Tim solo, much less twice so I do feel very fortunate for the experience.

Earlier in this thread, post # 547, 550, 559 and 564, were some videos of Tim performing solo in 2009. Does anyone know where that show was, please?

Sorry, UK, can't help. Those are such good videos, though! I love seeing him play a regular guitar.

I love seeing him play regular and bass guitar, and sing, and talk to his audience... I love, I love, I love, but, unfortunatelly, I will never see him performing his solo work, and it drives me nuts. I saw him singing 2 songs in Lucca, and it only makes my craving more intense
