EDIT: I found this nice story on Gary Burden's website.

AT - Thanks for the story. So sorry to hear about Gary. I always loved the cover of OTB. RIP Gary.
A cool, artistic guy. RIP!
He was a great artist who created some really iconic album covers, something of a lost art, I’m afraid.
One of These Nights might be my favorite Eagles LP cover.
(thanks for the link, AT, that was really interesting)

My gosh, look at all the album covers he did (including Tim 'n Bernie solos):

Just FYI: Timothy sent out a beautiful tweet this morning on Gary Burden. (R.I.P.)

Very sweet of Timothy...
I went ahead and merged the two threads that were created about Gary Burden's passing.
My thoughts go out to Gary's family at this sad time. He was an exceptionally gifted artist and will always be immortalized in the hearts of Eagles fans for his extraordinary artwork on the band's first four albums. I loved the 'Under the Covers' DVD that he and Henry Diltz did, and enjoyed Gary's contributions to the HOTE documentary as well ... especially the part where he says that "Don Henley was from Texas - he was a cowboy, Glenn was from Detroit - he wanted to be a cowboy."
