So cool to have the Eagles at the Olympics as part of my favorite sport!

    Very cool, thanks!!!

That's funny we all posted that. LOL The figure skating is my favorite part of the Winter Olympics too so that was cool to see.

I was going to post about HC HFO version during the Ice Dancing but you all beat me to it. They did a great routine. I love watching figure skating.

Thanks everyone! Looks like a lot of Borderers were tuned into the Olympics last night.

Well, shoot. I missed it! Maybe I can find a video somewhere.

I love that song and recognized it immediately, but one of the people I was there with thought it was some religious/choir song lol. This person, who is at least 20-25 years older than I am (I just turned 30 a couple of months back), had no idea who Poco was. I told him about Poco and TBS. Still no recognition.

I then said, well TBS was the second bass player the Eagles had, and he was like "I know the Eagles!" lol.

Then he paused and said "Wait, they had more than one bass player?"

I nearly face-palmed (but didn't because he was one of my supervisors lol) and started talking to him about Poco, the Eagles, Randy and TBS.

So if nothing else came from the conference, at least one person left there more educated about the Eagles and music history lol.
Sorry I didn't see this until day. Way to go, FBT!!

I had Hearts On Fire on the radio yesterday as I was heading to church. It was on the Casey Kasem American Top 40 Countdown. I think it was like no. 37.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I heard "Hotel California" at the Olympics again, playing in the background while they were interviewing Shaun White about his gold medal win just now (9:50 Central).
