Default Catching up with Joe's post-Eagles work

Could anyone recommend good songs to listen to in order to catch up with Joe's post-Eagles work?

Clearly I can listen to all of the albums, but focussing in on individual songs will be useful as I can loop a short playlist to get more familiar with them.

In my opinion, to truly enjoy Joe's albums, you've got to invest some time in them, there aren't any shortcuts. As Paul McCartney sang "The love you take is equal to love you make".

    I can give you a guesstimate of the tracks I listen too most;

    There Goes The Neighbourhood
You Never Know : Rivers(Of The Hidden Fun : Rockets : You Made Your Mind Up

I've seen There Goes The Neighborhood sighted as Joe's masterpiece, just ahead of The Smoker.... album.

You Bought It You Name It
Class Of 65 : Shadows : Theme From Island Weirdos : Told You So

    The Confessor
Rosewood Bitters : The Confessor : Slow Dancing : I Broke My Leg

    Got Any Gum
In My Car : No Peace In The Jungle : Memory Lane

    Ordinary Average Guy
The Gamma Goochie : Look At Us Now : You Might Need Somebody

    Songs For A Dying Planet
Theme From Baroque Weirdos/The Friend Song : Certain Situations : Decades
(I love the whole album except Fairbanks Alaska which is one of my least favourite Walsh tracks)

To display the inaccuracy of this list. I've played every track on There Goes The Neighborhood and most of Songs For A Dying Planet more than anything on The Confessor album, excluding the period when I played The Confessor incessantly when it first came out.

Before Joe released his Look What I did! and Little Did He Know (
compilation CDs I burned a few Joe Walsh compilations of my own:

    I Like Big Hits
01 Song For A Dying Planet / Decades
    02 The Confessor
    03 Ordinary Average Guy
    04 Theme From Boat Weirdos
    05 Rosewood Bitters
    06 In My Car
    07 All Night Long
    08 Space Age Whiz Kids
09 Two Sides To Every Story
10 Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
    11 Look At Us Now
    12 Life's Been Good
13 Rivers Of The Hidden Funk
14 I.L.B.T.s (given the title I felt I had to include it )

    Slight Misdemeanors
    01 Down On The Farm
    02 Midnight Moodies
    03 In The City
    04 Life Of Illusion
    05 Funk 49
    06 Turn To Stone
    07 I'm Acting Different
    08 Rockets
    09 Indian Summer
    10 Good Man Down
    11 Theme From Island Weirdos
    12 Wrapcity In English
    13 Certain Situations
    14 Theme From Boat Weirdos
    15 Rocky Mountain Way
16 Ashes The Rain And I
    17 Up All Night
    18 Over And Over
Integrating the old and new material there.

The James Gang comp was a lot easier:

    Laguna Rocks
    01 Laguna Salada
    02 Collage
    03 I Don't Have The Time
    04 Funk #49
    05 Asshetonpark
    06 Midnight Man
    07 The Bomber
    08 Take A Look Around
09 Wrapcity In English / Fred
    10 Again
11 Tend My Garden / Garden Gate
    12 There I Go Again
    13 Thanks
14 Ashes The Rain And I
    15 All The Same
    16 Walk Away
    17 Funk 48
    18 Stop

    Can't believe I omitted Bluebird
