I'm sad to have missed Joe interviewing Bill S., that would have been really interesting. I'm currently renting a car with Sirius so I've gotten to hear some of the offerings - mostly Henley and one nice comment from Vince introducing his favorite Eagles song, NKIT.
How long (how long) will this channel be around?

They have played a lot of songs from LROOE album. They even have played I Dream There's No War. No More Walks In The Wood right now.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Finally, I’m getting to hear the Opry show.

Vince sings NKIT. Before doing so he says he thought it would be strange hearing anyone else but Glenn singing Glenn’s songs. He talks being happy to receive the phone call inviting him to play with these guys and help keep these songs alive. He dedicates NKIT To Deacon.

So far I’m inclined to believe there will be no dvd/cd of this show. Don, being the band’s best singer with the possible exception of Vince (who is arguably more of a Guest than an actual Eagle), is sounding strained to me.

Joe: “in the 70s every night was Halloween for us” He joked about dressing up for Halloween and someone (Vince?) told him “you’re 69 you idiot” Everyone laughs.

ETA: correction Joe joked about going trick-or-treating on Halloween

I loved what Vince said to Deacon. I loved your dad and I love you. That was so sweet.

They are playing Ol' 55 right now. It sounds almost the same, it sounds like the Eagles version is slightly faster. The Eagles version they paused a few times before more instruments comes in the song while Tom sings it right through with no stopping with the instrument. It weird to hear Tom Waits version.

They are playing I Love to Watch a Woman Dance. They have basically played all the songs from the LROOE album which I'm glad.

    Thanks, Buff!

I've been enjoying it. Has anyone heard them play any of Randy's solo songs? Or have they even talked about him much? There was a discussion about Poco yesterday afternoon but the emphasis was on Timothy, which is fine of course.

Anyway, I've heard solo tracks from Henley, Walsh and Glenn but no one else.
