    On this day in 2007, the band released this awesome 2-disc album. It was so great and exciting to hear new music from them. The album went on to receive several Grammy nominations and two wins (How Long and I Dreamed There Was No War) and sell in excess of 7 million copies - not bad for a band that's been around for a while. So without further ado ...

    Such an easy album anniversary for me to remember, for obvious reasons.

    The album that came when I needed it most. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it and am extremely thankful for it as it helped me get through a very rough time in my life and was my driving companion as I was on the road for the few weeks after it was released, driving back and forth to my parents before my father passed away.

    Such a wonderful album and I love so many of the songs on it. It was well worth the wait.

    I'm gonna have to get the CD from either Amazon or see if Walmart still sells it online. Too bad its not on Spotify. I know the guys other albums are except that one and Hell Freezes Over.

    Love it and was completely enthralled with it when came out! Well worth the wait! I was sooooooo happy when I finally got it, new music from my favorite band!

    I was SO jazzed when it came out and I still love it. I think it's better than The Long Run. It's such a freakin' shame they don't do anything from it on the History of the Eagles tour.
