I love it when they do that!!! On Test Drive Unlimited they have Joe Walsh's Funk 49
You came along and changed my life Glenn!!
Not exactly the Eagles themselves, but at a restaurant in Turkey my sons told me to listen to the background music, and it was a Turkish version of Hotel California!! It even had the full double guitar riff played on some instruments resembling sitars. Made us all smile!
Went to a touristy area with a friend today and in two separate stores, I heard 'Take It Easy' and 'Tequila Sunrise' playing on the radios at each place. The last time I was shopping in the same town, 'Love Will Keep Us Alive' was playing in a store.
Heard The Last Worthless Evening in the grocery store. I stopped dead in the freezer section.

I heard the last half of Best Of My Love coming home for lunch just now. It made me think about the performance on the DVD.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Take It Easy was playing when I turned on the radio at work this morning! I knew it would be a good day!

1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
Just returned home on Sunday night after visiting my aunts and cousins in Tennessee. My cousin's family owns a boat dock on what is about the only lake in Tennessee (man-made, of course). Anyway, she took us out on the boat one day and all of a sudden Take It Easy start playing. She brought the "Very Best of ..." CD out on the boat to play just for me. Wow - that was a fun boating trip!

What a thoughtful cousin Dreamer! It must have been idyllic on the boat and listening to our boys!
