Wow, Molly...I don't know what to say. You and Steve seem to be handling thing very well. I think action may be the best medicine. Take care of yourselves and don't forget to breathe.

Re: What's happening in your life?
What? Only English, Math, Science, Art and Technology?
Wow, you certainly do have a reason to be proud! It's always fun when they do well, isn't it?
I will take your son's proud achievements over what Peter has warned us we have to look forward to...
He told us he has joined a group of Marquette basketball fans called "The Kiltmen". It's exactly what it sounds like. Apparently, they attend MU basketball games wearing nothing but a kilt (well, I hope they're smart enough to wear something underneath, but they are college boys). They body paint letters on their bare chests so they spell out "WE R
MARQUETTE". (Good thing we're paying big $$ for this education or they'd probably spell "WE IS MARQUETTE")
They are hoping to be shown on television.
Won't Ditka and I be proud!

Re: What's happening in your life?
Well, I went to the school presentation night last night but Rosalind didn't win anything. It was 90 minutes of total tedium. I had the iPod to keep me occupied and it was vaguely funny when the school dance group performed to We Are The Champions, which was one of the songs I heard.

Re: What's happening in your life?
Congrats to your son, Kate. And Molly - you should be very proud of the invaluable lessons Peter is learning - he are going to be just fine.
Julie, I laughed at your post because I just got back home from my 10 year old niece's Christmas Chorus Program. Fortunately, it didn't last 90 minutes. But you could just see that she was so proud - she had a grin from ear to ear when she came out on stage. I think she believed me when I told her I felt like I was at an Eagles concert.
BTW Molly - It sounds like you and Ditka are bouncing back fine. I knew you would, and of course, I also knew that you would find a way to make this horrible situation as positive as you can. That's just the way you are. I know the families that you help get through the holidays will be eternally grateful.

Kate -- sounds like you are quite proud of your son as well you should be!
Molly -- think how good being a Kiltman be look on his resume.
Nancy -- just wait until the nieces and nephews are old enough to participate in fund raisers. Who do you think the first person they call is (after Grandmom, of course)?
